Remy's 21st Birthday - Saturday, 30 November 2013

I know, I know, I haven't updated this in a while, my apologies.  Life gets in the way, I'm sure you'll agree.  Remy was discharged from the Toronto Rehab Hospital at the end of June 2013 after approximately a year in the hospital system.  We wish to thank all of the Health Care providers that have assisted with his recovery and rehabilitation, you've all been wonderful and kind.

Remy had stays at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Southlake Regional Healthcare Centre in New Market Ontario, and at Toronto Rehab in Toronto.  Each and every hospital, and each and every member of the Health Care team were critical to helping Remy recover and get him well on his journey to regain what it was that he lost in the accident.

Remy is our miracle.  Just surviving the car accident was a gift to us.  Everyday that we have Remy with us is a good day.  His recovery team continues to help Remy get stronger and healthier and for that we're ever grateful.  Although Remy still has a way to go to a full recovery, he has made very strong leaps and bounds since July 2012 that we still marvel at and count our blessings.

Remy still likes to rap and make music, watch Netflix, go to movies, go out to restaurants, go bowling, spend time with family and friends, go for coffee and talk about the good times past and the good times still to come.


If you can, engage Remy on Facebook and whatever else you guys use these days to keep in touch and wish him a Happy 21st Birthday.  If you can please come out to visit with him on his birthday in Newmarket, Ontario on Saturday, 30 November 2013.  We're going to have an open house all day so his friends can stop in and hang out with Remy at anytime on his birthday.  He will definitely love to see any and all of his friends to help share his gift to us that we call a birthday.  Ciao friends, but remember you're his family too, and we cherish all of you.  Dad
